Cinnamon Apple Puffs
2 cups flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
3/4 c. milk
4 tart apples
1/2 tsp. salt
8 Tbsp. melted butter
2 or more Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Note: if you are using self rising flour, than omit baking powder and soda
Boil the cup of sugar and water to a syrup. Add sliced apples, simmer until tender, but not soft.
Place in a baking dish or pan. Make soft biscuit dough, roll out and cut biscuits. Place on top
of apples. Make a dent on each biscuit. Melt butter, mix 2 or more spoons of sugar and cinnamon, spoon over each biscuit. Bake at 375 or 4oo until brown, about 18 min.
